Alyssa Seibert, Operations Manager
Alyssa grew up in rural central Maryland with ancestral roots in farming. She earned a B.S. in Environmental Science and Policy and a Master of Community Planning from University of Maryland College Park, specializing in land use and minoring in Vocal Performance.
After graduate school, Alyssa discovered a strong passion for food systems work after volunteering with Crossroads Community Food Network and interning with City Blossoms in the Washington D.C. metro area. Alyssa has worked in operations, program coordination, and marketing for organizations with a focus on farmers' markets, farm-to-school educational programs, food waste prevention, and food delivery. She is passionate about integrative health, circular systems, and nutrition, and how access to fresh, local food can impact individuals, communities, and the environment.
