Kirk Druey, Board of Directors

Kirk was born and raised in Northern California but migrated to the East Coast 30 years ago to pursue graduate education in medicine. He recently concluded his career in biomedical research at the National Institutes of Health. He lives on a farm in Adamstown with his cats, dogs, and horses.

Kirk has a passion for providing more fresh, healthy foods from local farms and food producers to our food-insecure households and promoting local agriculture within Frederick County.  He volunteers with the Frederick County Food Council, and he’s excited to serve on the Farm to School Frederick Board of Directors.
