Madeleine Reinstein, Curriculum & Nutrition Education Coordinator
Madeleine’s enthusiasm for nutrition comes from the ties between food, culture, and wellness. Food is a global language that evokes feelings of family, health, and connection. Simply put, everyone eats. However, not everyone has access to the same nutritional knowledge and resources that allow us to live healthy lives. As a Registered Dietitian, her focus is on childhood obesity prevention and increasing food access through policy, systems, and environmental interventions.
This outlook on nutrition is based on her varied educational background. She earned a B.S. in Hospitality Management from Florida International University, a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Central Florida, and completed her Dietetic Internship course requirements at the University of Maryland.
