Marcy Taylor, Produce Delivery Volunteer

Marcy was born and raised in Scranton, PA, and came to Frederick to attend Hood College.  After earning a BA in Chemistry, Marcy settled in Frederick to start her career in the aerospace industry, managing NASA, commercial and development projects that included designing, manufacturing, and launching satellites, rocket motor development, and the construction of a launch pad in Wallops, VA.  Over the years, Marcy has been active in the community, especially focused on supporting those in need including the food insecure, homeless, and senior citizens.  Having recently retired, she is happy to have the time and energy to support Farm to School Frederick as it provides tangible opportunities to be involved and help the community.
