Three Springs Fruit Farm shares their farm history and offers a taste of Pennsylvania Dutch with samples of apple schnitz. Roaming Stone meets you with a smile ready sharpen all your tools for gardening and preparing fruits and vegetables to eat.
Craig, owner & grower of Maryland Microgreens, displays varieties of bright verdant microgreens including leeks, arugula, basil, salad mix, and carrots grown in a vertical indoor farm. He has strict standards to preserve nutrients allowing only necessary equipment to enter the climate controlled growing space. Microgreens are cut from the tray and delivered to the customer roots intact on recycled coconut fibers helping to preserve freshness for up to a week or two.
Husband and wife team, Kim & George, are side by side vendors of Bold Love Bakery & Farm. Chat with George about his exquisite pastries then hop on over to meet Kim. Kim stewards the farm implementing organic growing practices in the vegetable garden and permaculture orchard. She crafts prepared foods such as salad kits, roasted beet hummus, and spiced chickpea & kale soup using ingredients grown on the farm.
Little Red Wagon offers Frederick grown fresh vegetables or seedling plants to add to your own garden. Heavens to Betsy offers pastured eggs and jams with fruit foraged from her own farm. Before leaving, don’t forget to visit Julie of Steller Pies & Pastries. Her pies look beautiful and the coffee cake muffin is divine! There really is a food for everyone.
